The problem has very deep roots.
The stigma which is attached to this accident— I call it accident because it can happen to any woman—is the main problem.
I decided that the woman should be empowered, and should be able to empower others.
That is why at Samadhan, we send survivors to schools and colleges, and urge them to pursue law,
which in turn helps these women fight their own cases. Samadhan has helped more than 3,700 survivors of rape and violence—of these,
